Palm Doc Converter for Mac OS X
Today I was catching up with some feedback email I'd received from my Writing, Editing and Word Processing Champion page.
One of the messages was sent by Adam Nohejl, about a Palm Doc Converter — a new tool he's created for converting plain text, RTF and simple HTML files to Palm DOC format. After having a look at his new tool, I thought it'd be good to make mention on my weblog for anyone interested. It's freeware but a $5 donation is available if you'd like to reward Adam for his work.
I'm still a big iSilo fan. I use iSiloX for Mac OS (its free desktop client) to automatically capture weblogs I read daily with its schedule feature. Of course iSilo for Palm OS isn't free, but I feel the $17.50 paid for it a few years back was well worth the price for my needs.
There are two other Mac OX Palm DOC converters available for free: PorDiBle and Möötjelitt. Both work pretty well, though I must admit with iSilo, I don't generate plain Palm DOC files much these days. Still, a Palm DOC converter is handy if you need a free tool to create relatively small documents easily, which an be read on any Palm OS or Pocket PC device.
