Only from the Creative Mind of a Kid

"Weeeyeeoo weeeyeeoo weeeyeeoo weeeyeeoo weeeyeeoo!'

I turned around to see what Nathan, my 4 year old son was up to on the PC behind me. There he was, rapidly whipping the mouse around in circles, while a blue-white blob vibrated at the center of his screen.

"Weeeyeeoo weeeyeeoo weeeyeeoo weeeyeeoo weeeyeeoo!'

"Nathan, what are you doing?"

Without even turning to face me, he replied:

"Playing Google Earth, dad!"

Hey come on Mike, admit it. You've spun the world round in Google Earth just once or twice now, haven't you?

That's GREAT!!! Geez, the world is gonna be so small for him when he gets older...

Neal, I have to admit that nathan was the inventer of spinning the earth. Hopefully he didn't spill your tea. :-)

Chris, I think the world will be incredibly different for Nathan. Should be very interesting to see the world through his eyes (and I'm sure I'll learn some stuff along the way!).

Thats great. My 5yo loves zoooming in on the buildings in San Fran and playing around with it too.

Cool Ben. Kids find amazing uses for the most average things! :-)

I insist we have born too early, Mike. Fof my 5 years old daughter it is common bread to sit on the PC, launch cartoonnetwork and play powergirls games. I try to explain a world without computers and only one channel on TV with very very limited cartoon broadcast but she cannot really comprehend. Too early, too early!!
